I was pleased to find the staff exceptionally welcoming, and they effortlessly accommodated my early arrival, setting a positive tone for the stay. My room, though compact, featured a laptop-friendly workspace and offered a stunning view of the surrounding mountains - ideal for a productive yet relaxing retreat. The breakfast spread was impressive, with an array of delicious options, including bacon and scrambled eggs, and the fact that it's available until late morning was a major perk for a late riser like me. After a day of skiing, I genuinely appreciated being able to freshen up with a shower before heading out, which showcased the hotel's thoughtful attention to detail. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and a homey feel in the Alps, I can wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Jägerhof as your base in Zermatt. Whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or in a group, this charming spot has all you need for a memorable stay.
